From the owner & CEO

Why Dimitri puts the cars on video

A polished photograph can show design and finish, but a useful video adds sound, movement, scale, controls, operating behavior, and the small details a buyer may want to understand before traveling or arranging an inspection.

With more than 25 years in the automobile business and experience across thousands of vehicle transactions, owner and CEO Dimitri uses video to make the buying process more direct. The goal is not to replace an independent inspection. It is to give enthusiasts more context, encourage better questions, and make remote conversations more productive.

Future channel programming can include new arrivals, cold starts, driving impressions, restoration milestones, underbody cleaning, ownership stories, market discussions, and practical guidance for first-time collectors.

More than entertainment

How classic-car videos help buyers make better decisions

A video can make a listing easier to understand, especially for buyers shopping from another state or country. It can show how doors fit and close, how the engine starts, how gauges respond, how the exhaust sounds, how an automatic or manual transmission operates, and how the car presents from normal viewing distance. It can also focus attention on areas that deserve additional photographs or inspection.

Video should remain one part of a complete evaluation. Lighting, microphones, camera stabilization, editing, and screen settings can affect what a viewer perceives. Ask for supporting records, current photographs, a written description, and access for an independent pre-purchase inspection when appropriate. A moving presentation cannot prove originality, eliminate hidden corrosion, verify lifetime mileage, or guarantee future reliability.

For a remote purchase, use video to create a question list. Request close views of model-specific problem areas, identification markings, known imperfections, the underside, tires, interior controls, engine compartment, trunk, convertible top, and included parts. Confirm that the media is current and represents the automobile being offered.

Classic car video questions

Are these videos connected to vehicles currently for sale?

Some videos may feature current inventory, while others document vehicles that have already sold or are retained for educational and historical interest. Always confirm availability on the vehicle listing or by calling the dealership.

Can I request a video of a specific car?

Yes. Contact us with the year, make, model, stock number, and the details you want to see. Availability and the type of media we can provide depend on the vehicle and request.

Does a video replace a pre-purchase inspection?

No. Video provides context but cannot reveal every mechanical, structural, cosmetic, or documentation issue. We encourage buyers to arrange an independent inspection when it is important to their decision.

Can I watch on YouTube instead of this page?

Yes. Visit the official channel’s Videos tab to browse directly on YouTube, leave comments, share videos, and subscribe.

What kinds of videos will be added?

The channel can feature new arrivals, detailed walkarounds, cold starts, driving videos, restoration progress, dry-ice cleaning, delivery preparation, collector education, vehicle histories, and conversations with owners and specialists.
